The deal, in plain English.
These are the terms Cleave OS operates under while it is in early access. They are short because the arrangement is simple, and honest about what is and isn't promised at this stage.
Cleave OS is operated by Jack2Media, an independent Amazon agency based in Bristol, United Kingdom. These terms cover this website and the Cleave OS application. Contact: [email protected]. Using the site or the product means you accept these terms; if you connect an Amazon account on behalf of a business, you confirm you are entitled to do so.
Cleave is in early access. The form on the home page registers interest — it does not create an account, connect anything or grant access. Accounts are invited by hand while the product is built. Nothing on this page charges you money: there is no paid plan today, and any future paid plan will come with its own written terms at the point you buy it, not by quiet edits to this page.
What Cleave is
Cleave is an analytics and operations workspace for Amazon sellers. It reads the data of a connected Amazon account through Amazon's official APIs, under an authorisation the account holder grants, and presents that data back with analysis, alerts and creative tooling. Cleave works for you: it reads your account to answer your questions, and it does not act on your account without your instruction.
Your account and your authorisation
- Access during early access is by invitation. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials private, and for what happens under them.
- Connecting an Amazon account happens through Amazon's own consent flow, on Amazon's pages. We never ask for your Seller Central password.
- You can revoke Cleave's authorisation at any time in Seller Central under Apps & Services → Manage your apps. Revoking cuts our access immediately; you can then ask us to delete what we hold, as described on the privacy page.
Your data stays yours
Everything Cleave pulls from your connected account, and everything you enter yourself — costs, notes, goals, brand assets — remains your data. We claim no ownership of it. How it is held, where it goes and how to have it deleted is set out on the privacy page; how it is protected is set out on the security page. Those two pages are part of these terms.
Acceptable use
A short list, applied with common sense. Don't:
- connect an Amazon account you are not entitled to connect;
- probe, overload or attempt to break the service or its authentication;
- use Cleave to violate Amazon's own policies or agreements;
- resell, scrape or extract the service's output for a competing product.
We can suspend or close access that breaches these — with notice and a reason, except where the breach is actively causing harm.
What we promise — and what we don't, yet
We promise to operate the service honestly: figures trace to live feeds, gaps are shown as gaps rather than papered over, and material changes to how the product handles your data are told to you by email rather than quietly edited in.
During early access we do not promise uptime, uninterrupted access or that features will stay as they are. The product changes fast — that is the point of this stage — and the service is provided “as is” while that is true.
Amazon is not ours
Cleave reads from Amazon; it is not endorsed by, affiliated with or able to overrule Amazon. Decisions Amazon takes about your selling account — suspensions, fee changes, data availability — are between you and Amazon. Where Cleave presents estimates or derived figures, they are labelled as such and are not a substitute for Amazon's own records.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded — including for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Beyond that: during early access, where the service is provided without charge, our total liability to you is limited to £100; if you are on a paid arrangement, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect losses — lost profits, lost sales or decisions made on figures Amazon later restated.
Ending things
You can stop using Cleave at any time: revoke the authorisation in Seller Central, ask us to delete your data, and that is that. We can end an early-access invitation with reasonable notice. Sections that by their nature survive — data rights, liability, governing law — do.
Changes and law
When these terms change, the date at the top changes with it, and material changes are emailed to account holders. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
